8 Mile Pump Station 54-Inch Force Main

This sanitary sewer project for the Oakland County Water Resource Commissioner upgrades the discharge capacity of the 8 Mile Road Pump Station with a new force main consisting of 6,040 LF of 54-inch engineered steel pipe manufactured by Northwest Pipe Company.

• Permalok^® CC (Cycle Casing) Joint - A reusable steel casing tool engineered to effectively upsize pilot tube or auger bores to the final product casing size. The CC Joint connects without welding and disconnects easily in the exit pit with zero cutting, breaking, or refinishing required.
• Permalok^® Quick Bore System - A packaged solution that includes both the CC Joint cycle casing tool and the final product pipe (Permalok^® AB Joint steel casing, C200 steel carrier pipe, RCP, or HDPE-Lined Perfect Pipe). This dual system leverages the precision of the pilot tube installation method, completing bores faster while upsizing to more efficiently remove spoils for larger diameter installations.
